The M-Days go to Frankfurt

Smartphones, apps and the infinite variety of mobile applications are reaching more and more people all over the world. Consumer behaviour and publishing as well as marketing structures in the industry are rapidly changing. The enormous growth of the congress-fair M-DAYS “The home of MOBILE” reflects these developments. With 1,650 visitors, the fully booked M-DAYS 2010 had grown by 122 percent compared to the year before and reached the capacity limits of the BMW Welt in Munich. “As we had no more capacities left to admit further exhibitors and visitors in 2010, we had to find a new location with similar ambience ... further informations in the press release

Kick-off Event of the M-Days 2011

To tie on the success of the M-Days 2010, all sponsors, exhibitors and interested people meet for a creative exchange of ideas and items. In the modern traditional atmosphere of the Airbräu Munich Airport, we create space for the personal ideas and wishes of the participants.

Highlight Speaker: Chiefs ComScore US, BBC wordwide, Fjord with App-Design-Authority and many more

The first highlight of the congress will be the keynote of an authority in digital measurement, Gian Fulgoni from Chicago, co-founder of comScore Inc., dealing with “The Mobile Media Ecosystem – How Mobile is Changing the Game”. The panel "Mobile Advertising" opens with the key speech of Tom Bowman, Vice President BCC worldwide. Industry representatives such as Kerstin Trikalitis, managing director, Out There Media, Mark Davies, marketing manager, Southend United Football Club, Michael Schade, managing director, Fishlab Entertainment, and a representative of Ogilvy UK will share their experience and expertise with the audience. International speakers from enterprises such as Qualcomm (UK), Rubberduck Media Lab (Norway), Intel Corporation, Futuretext, Fjordnet Ltd (UK/F), Screen Digest (UK), Keynote Systems (Silicon Valley, USA) and SiMobil from Slovenia provide a comprehensive overview of upcoming developments. Second Days: Keynote opening with Author Ajit Jaokar and Chiefs from Intel, Telekom, Qualcomm, Wireless Expertise

Ajit Jaokar, founder of the London research institute and publishing house Futuretext, opens the keynote session "Mobile Fragmentation: Yet another OS, Browser and App Store on the Mobile Market?" on the second day. Jaokar is a highly respected commentator and author of the book "Open Mobile: Understanding the Impact of Open Mobile". Also contributing to the panel is Wolfgang Petersen, director developer relations division Europe, Middle East and Africa, Intel Corporation. He is responsible for developing and managing Intel’s DRD strategy and programs across EMEA mature and emerging markets. Colm Healy, vice president of Qualcomm (UK), speaks on the topic “Mobile Applications – Beyond the First Wave” and Anuj Khanna, founder & CEO of Wireless Expertise Ltd (UK), presents the study “The Future of Mobile Application Storefronts”. Dr Rainer Deutschmann, senior vice president mobile products, Deutsche Telekom AG, provides input on mobile communication around the world.

The MobileMonday Demo Night@M-Days on January 28th shows and awards LIVE on the fair stage the best applications.
